SAC's
NAIDOC Ball
SAC is proud to host Albany's annual NAIDOC Ball and Awards to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The NAIDOC Ball is a way of acknowledging and showcasing the Indigenous trailblazers who have made a difference in various fields, such as arts, sports, education, health, justice and leadership.
It is also a chance for the Indigenous community to come together and share their stories, traditions and aspirations with each other and with the wider community.

The NAIDOC Ball is a symbol of pride, resilience and strength of the Indigenous peoples, who have a long history of getting up, standing up and showing up for their rights and recognition.

What is NAIDOC Week?
National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
