As the largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation in southwestern WA, SAC delivers a range of programs as well as critical support services that meet the diverse and evolving needs of our communities.​

Services

Our integrated service delivery profile enables SAC to understand and address the complex and compounding issues facing Aboriginal people.

Family Violence Prevention Legal Service

Free legal assistance and non-legal support to people experiencing, or at risk of, family and domestic violence.

Driver Access and Equity

We support disadvantaged Aboriginal people in the Great Southern Region to obtain a driver’s licence.

 

Community Housing

​​​​

We provide tenants with quality accommodation at affordable rents and promote home ownership in the Aboriginal community.

First Nations Family Dispute Resolution 

Our service helps Aboriginal people affected by separation or divorce to sort out family disputes.

Tenancy Support

We provide tailored supports to Aboriginal people to maintain their tenancy and otherwise manage their welfare

Great Southern Safe Spaces (In Progress)

New crisis accommodation service for women and children experiencing family and domestic violence

Indigenous Skills and Employment

Supporting individuals transitioning from prison by connecting them with employment, training, and business opportunities.

We endeavour to listen to our communities and seek to develop innovative programs to improve social, emotional, economic and cultural outcomes for Aboriginal people across the regions we support.

Aboriginal Rangers Program

Empowering young Aboriginal Rangers to care for and protect Country, and engage in cultural knowledge transfer.

Health Promotion (Gnumaries Hurt)

Our program to delivers education to raise awareness of the health risks associated with vaping and tobacco consumption

Social and Emotional Wellbeing Program

We create culturally safe spaces for the community to connect and learn about suicide prevention

Kairli Cultural and Language Centre
