About the Role
The Executive Assistant to the CEO will work primarily with the CEO and provide additional support to executive team members, as directed, to ensure that SAC’s goals and objectives are accomplished and that operations run efficiently.
​​
The Executive Assistant to the CEO will support our workplace vision and values and help to maintain our reputation for quality service delivery.
The role will coordinate and manage the CEO scheduling and travel logistics, provide administrative and office support, organise team communications and support internal and off-site events planning.
The role will contribute to the effective management of the workforce by ensuring the CEO and senior management team are supported to focus on high level strategic planning through our cultural way of working. The ideal candidate will have exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate the CEO’s needs. To perform this job successfully, the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information while exercising professionalism and discretion is necessary.

Essential skills/experiences
​​
You are a motivated and committed person that essentially has:

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, respectfully and sensitively with Aboriginal people;
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
-
Strong time management skills and an ability to organise and coordinate multipleconcurrent projects;
-
Experience in the application of high-level customer service principles andpractices;
-
Either, tertiary qualifications in business administration or equivalent with experiencein high level office administration role/s or, attained through previous appointments,service and/or study, an equivalent level of expertise and experience to undertake arange of activities;
-
Proven ability to assist in the administration of governance functions of anorganisation;
-
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and record management systems;
-
Excellent problem-solving skills;
-
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an effective and positive team member, setting priorities and achieving deadlines with a high level of initiative and self-motivation; and
-
Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector.

And desirably has:

Governance related qualifications and/or workplace experience;
-
An understanding of culturally informed approaches relating to Noongar people of the Great Southern and their culture; and
-
An understanding of approaches aligning to holistic healing.
