Marribank mission
We thank Timothy Flowers and Garry Ryder for sharing their stories today with SAC staff. Both Timmy and Garry were sent to the Marribank mission when they were babies. From the office in Perth's Murray Street, A O Neville presided over the policy that saw hundreds of Aboriginal children removed from their families and placed into native settlements and missions from 1915. SAC staff have gained more understanding on stolen generations and their trauma.

White Ribbon Australia
Today, our CEO, Asha Bhat attended the WA White Ribbon Ambassadors and Advocates event in Perth and met with the CEO of White Ribbon Australia. This event was supported by the Western Australian White Ribbon Committee and it provided our CEO an opportunity to meet with Ambassadors, Advocates and Committee members from around Western Australia. Marribank Aboriginal Corporation
Marribank Aboriginal Corporation signed the lease documents to lease Marribank mission complex area for five years with Southern Aboriginal Corporation. Marribank Aboriginal Corporation objective aligns with our objective and we want to get outcomes for ex mission members.
